The Crawford Peace House Wants YOU Saturday, July 22 for a day of "some serious, heavy, sweaty work." Strong arms and backs are needed to prepare the Peace House grounds for upcoming events. The job entails hauling rocks and logs – and everyone's favorite: brush clearin'!

The Peace House – the spiritual center of the anti-war movement at our president's home-away-from-hurricanes – is just less than a two-hour drive northwest of Austin (Map). The day of work is slated to begin in earnest at 8am, but there'll be folks getting started at sunrise if you can be there by then.

Please bring: Gloves, sturdy shoes, a chainsaw if you have one, and drive your truck if you have one. Peace House coordinator Kay Lucas says competent (all ten fingers) chainsawers are especially needed.
