Drawing on his experience of growing up in Beirut, artist Khaled Ramadan’s provocative work takes a stabbing look at the influence of political and commercial development on our mainstream culture as it attempts to salve the wound between art and society.

Ugly and powerful, exhibits 1-23, as well as past installations, convey the disturbing parallel between horror and pleasure, with ironic points on violence and the media. Think you know a grenade from a lime? Ramadan suggests you take a look again.
